Today we were reminded that we serve a Savior who Today we were reminded that we serve a Savior who truly understands our pain. In "Jesus Went Through It, So That I Could Get Through It," based on 2 Corinthians 1:3–10, we explored how God meets us in our suffering—not only to comfort us, but to strengthen our faith and equip us to encourage others.
The Apostle Paul testified that even in overwhelming trials, God's comfort never failed. Likewise, Jesus endured rejection, betrayal, suffering, and the cross so that we would never have to face life's hardships alone. Because He went through it, we can make it through every challenge with hope, courage, and confidence in God's faithfulness.
The message reminded us that our trials are not the end of our story. God uses our moments of pain to deepen our dependence on Him, reveal His power, and prepare us to minister to others walking through similar seasons. His comfort is not meant to stop with us—it is meant to flow through us.
As we leave this message, may we remember that whatever we face, we are never without God's presence or His promises. The same God who sustained Paul and raised Jesus from the dead is able to sustain us today. We can endure because Jesus went through it, so that we could get through it.

Worship Recap | "Faith and Feelings Management" Ac Worship Recap | "Faith and Feelings Management"
Acts 16:22-32
This Sunday's message reminded us that while we cannot always control our circumstances, we can choose how we respond to them. Through the story of Paul and Silas, we saw what it means to manage our feelings through faith rather than allowing our feelings to manage us.
Beaten, imprisoned, and placed in chains, Paul and Silas could have responded with anger, fear, or despair. Instead, at midnight they prayed and sang praises to God. Their worship in the midst of hardship became a powerful testimony, leading to a miraculous release and the salvation of the jailer and his household.
The lesson was clear: faith does not deny our feelings, but it helps us process them through the lens of God's promises. When we choose prayer over panic, praise over complaining, and trust over fear, God can use even our most difficult moments for His glory.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for worship as we were encouraged to keep our faith strong, our hearts anchored in Christ, and our feelings surrendered to God.
Key Takeaway:
Don't let your feelings drive your faith—let your faith guide your feelings. 🙏🏽✨

✨ Worship Recap: "How to Find Rest" ✨ What a powe ✨ Worship Recap: "How to Find Rest" ✨
What a powerful time of worship and reflection today at Cosmopolitan Community Church!
Through Matthew 11:28-30, we were reminded of Jesus' loving invitation: *"Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."* In a world filled with stress, responsibilities, and constant demands, we learned that true rest is not found in escaping our circumstances—it is found in surrendering them to Christ.
As we lifted our voices in praise, prayed together, and received the Word, we were encouraged to lay down our burdens, trust God's guidance, and exchange our heavy loads for the peace that only Jesus can provide. His yoke is easy, His burden is light, and His promise of rest is still available today.
These photos capture moments of worship, fellowship, and hearts being refreshed in God's presence. May they serve as a reminder that no matter what you're carrying, Jesus is always inviting you to come to Him and find rest.
